I never set out to become a milliner.
My journey began with my mom—my best friend, my fiercest champion.
In 2009, when she was diagnosed with cancer, I stitched together a hat to keep her head warm. What started as a small act of love turned into a calling.
Time disappeared when I was making hats, like I’d stepped into a vortex.
As my mom’s health returned, she encouraged me to follow the vision—hats made for women like us: mothers, daughters, sisters, friends.
Years later, after my daughter was born, I was diagnosed with vitiligo. I learned firsthand that protecting your skin isn’t vanity—it’s self-care. I wanted a sun protective sun hat that actually protected my skin and one that could also easily back for travel.
Since then, I’ve been handcrafting UPF 50+ hats for women around the world—designed to pack flat, pop back, and carry you through every chapter of life. Each brim holds a piece of my story, and maybe now, it can hold yours too.
